Day trip to Whitstable

Winter or summer, if the longing for the sea is heavy, then Withstable will be inviting with its smell of sea.

Again another trip themed with water, but living in the UK means you are never too far from the sea.

Not just visiting the sea but there are many other interesting things to do and explore in Whitstable, you can even come across a zero waste shop: Vita Stores!

After walking through the streets of Whitstable full of shops, cafes and restaurants and reaching the sea, it is nice to have a walk along the sea towards the Whitstable Harbour and enjoying the view of the boats and visiting the Fish Market.

If you walk a bit further, you can reach to Whitstable Castle & Gardens where you can have an afternoon tea or just enjoy the garden and views.

As it happens in every popular location in the UK, it was difficult to find a pub or restaurant that had a table. We managed to find one at Pearsons Arms and had lunch there which was nice.

Hope you enjoy the trip as much as we did one a windy but sunny February day.
