When one thinks of Cotswolds, cute villages, stone buildings and nature comes to mind. And that is exactly what you can find in Kingham.
If you are car-less like I am, then another good thing about Kingham is that you can reach there via public transport. In fact, from London it is only 1.5 hour train journey to Kingham. So a perfect car-free trip option in the UK!

There are several walking routes you can start from Kingham, and the maps and directions are available
here. We did the Kingham Station Circular (AONB Walk 4) which is a 15 km walk. However, when we were on the walk, it started raining quite heavily, so we had to cut it short and follow an alternative path through the Foxholes Nature Reserve to shelter from the rain and wind which also turned out to be nice walk, here is the route we followed:

You might also wonder what else there is to do in Kingham. Obviously food! There are good restaurants in the village such as Wild Rabbit. It is very nice and cosy with the fireplace they have inside. We also had lunch in Kingham Plough which is also very nice.

There is also Daylesford Organic Farm nearby which has cafe, garden room, farm shop, spa and many more things.
Hope you enjoy!
